Today Is National Puzzle Day! Let’s Celebrate!
Good Morning, Dear Friends!
Today is a day to celebrate. It is January 29th and it is National Puzzle Day! As I have mentioned in a previous blog, I used to be a professional puzzle constructor. (I still am but I don’t do it as much as I used to!)
Puzzles are great for adults to do because puzzles work both the right and left side of your brain at the same time! They help keep our brains healthy and alert. All types of puzzles are beneficial for the human brain. So today I have decided to give you a puzzle from my book 101 PUZZLES, RIDDLES AND RHYMES FOR CAT LOVERS! (If you don’t love cats, just do the puzzle anyway to help your brain stay healthy!)
A VETERINARIAN’S VACATION
Dr. Rott Weiller, DVM, decided to take a vacation from his animal clinic. He left his assistant in charge but failed to tell him where he was going. The younger vet knew his boss was staying in 10 towns whose names each contained the name of an animal or insect. Unfortunately, Doc left only an abbreviated list of the towns. Can you help ‘ferret’ out the remaining letters in his itinerary? Fill out the blanks to find out where the good vet went!
1. — — CAT — –, ILLINOIS.
2 — — OX — — — — –, TENNESSEE
3 — ASP — –, WYOMING
4 — — HEN — — — — — –, NEW YORK

The answers will appear in a blog in the next few days! Enjoy your day!
See you next time,
Love from your forever friend, Hope
This is going to tax my brain friend. Thank you!
