Brain Food
Your brain needs very particular ingredients and nutrients to stay in its best state: taking into account it is made mostly out of fat, it needs plenty of fat to survive and work properly. It gets most of its energy out of sugar and glucose, so it also needs plenty of it to stay in shape.
“Brain foods” are those that have a high content of the nutrients your brain needs, and are therefore really efficient at feeding your brain.
Perhaps the most well-known one is fatty fish: salmon or tuna has a high content of omega 3 acid that keeps your brain bright and helps protect your memory. It is said a diet rich in fatty acids and omega 3 can help fend off Alzheimer’s and other memory-related issues.
Other foods rich in omega 3 are different nuts (especially walnuts), dark chocolate, pumpkin seeds, flaxseed, and eggs.
